The only problem with those theories is what happened to the "specimen" afterwards? you know, who was 6 feet under? wouldn't they have cleaned him up before?????

Not sure who they buried (if anyone one) in fact the only thing I've been able to establish that it's something to do with Molly. Well I think so. My track record is amazingly bad though.

Well remember how he kept telling John not to move while he was talking to him? I feel like he told him where to stand too... maybe there was something hiding somewhere????

The same thought occured to me when I watched it the second time through Tin- he is quite insistent on where John stands.

It's also got me thinking if all of that emotion was faked, if he knew he was going to survive. I really hope it wasn't all an act (sure as hell didn't look like one!) because that's just cruel! But if it wasn't, then he really did think he was going to die, so...

But I have to say that that was a fantastically written episode. I keep praising Moffat even though he didn't write it!

Well he is pretty damn cold- remember the scene in the morgue in the first episode of this series? With Mycroft? When they see the grieving family at the end of the corridor at Holmes asks his brother if there is something wrong with them? And Mycrofy replies something about emotion being a weakness.
And he's prettty cold regards Watsons feelings in the original story too (The final Solution- I think it was called)- he is Sherlock- he does what is necessary, as he tells Moriarty on the rooftop.

I thought the new movie-Sherlock was very entertaining. It was so unlike the original that THAT in itself was amusing.

I am certain you will love it Amarie- but I am curious do english language programs get dubbed into your own language or do they just get subtitled? (I personnaly dislike dubbing strongly and prefer subtitles for foreign language films or tv)

Only movies and cartoons for children are dubbed, thankfully.

Good, good. Sherlock is a great thing- brilliant tv and both its lead actors are in TH as important characters. TV Gold for this forum.

Been rewatching Robin of Sherwood - easily the greatest version of the Robin Hood saga ever committed to film (well video tape in this case). Brilliant stuff.

A young Ray Winstone playing the best versionof Will Scarlett ever conceived.



Doubt very much you would get away with that in modern Saturday evening tv.

And I think even Mrs Figg would approve how they wrote Maid Marion. No kick ass elves here, just a strong woman of her times.

What'd I say now?- I thought you disapproved of Tauriel style kick-ass elves and would be all in favour of a strong yet definetly female version of Maid Marion that can hack it in the woods and look good floating about a castle in a big dress? Wimin! Never can figure em.

I watched the Sixth Sense on tv last night, somehow I had missed the last 5 minutes when I watched it ages ago, and I have to say I never saw ThAT coming. really good ending.

Sadly I twigged the ending during the restraunt scene.
