While they did say "original story" that doesn't mean they're going to throw the pre-established canon out the window, it just means it won't be based on a certain book (I.e. The Thrawn Trilogy). Like I said, While I know it will be original, I just hope they keep existing canon in mind. (I.e. Boba Fett still being alive, Han and Leia married, their kids, etc)

They haven't given a lot of details yet, so that could well be the case, but I don't think they're going to put a very high priority on faithfulness to the pre-existing EU stories. We will see, though.

Favourite film- Empire- perfect middle film in a trilogy- wish PJ had taken note.

I read a couple of the books in my late teens but wasnt impressed.

Game- original wireframe star wars arcade machine. Pure gameplay and any game that could make me duck and dodge in front of the machine wins for me.

Parody- Cops.
