Odd they accuse him of being left wing when in his most famous work 1984- the Party is originally socialist- its hardly an endorcment of the left wing..

Orwell was a socialist though, just of a more different (more moderate) variety than the sort he criticized in 1984. Smile

The Bugle is a Forumshire newspaper and has always been in the paper awards. Its in this years.
However given the fact all the Bugle really produces is Wholesome Tales perhaps its seperate tales should be considered seperatly.
The problem there would be it leaves only leaves State News and Pure Publication in the newspaper category and State News has not published very much this year.

The Bugle still does reporting separate from the Wholesome Tales stories, doesn't it? I don't see why they couldn't be counted separately.

We need some more short stories though, I think. Suspect Are there any individual Wholesome Tales that people want to nominate?

Ive added 'There and back again by Anon' to the short story awards (or was it a serial? scratch - I admit to a drop or two of buckie and therefore didnt bother my arse checking drunken )

Should I also add 'The lion the witch and the Wardrobe'- or should each author only get 1 nomination in each category?

Sounds good to me Eldo.
So if there any last minute suggestions for the forum categories now is the time to make them. Otherwise voting will open on the 14th.
