Some new Who, this Friday! 
'The BBC have released a photo of Matt Smith as the Doctor as part of the publicity for this Friday's Children In Need on BBC1.
Doctor Who, featuring Matt Smith, will bring viewers an extra special 'prequel' to its Christmas special, with a bespoke storyline made for Children in Need, and an exclusive preview trailer of the Christmas special including the first glimpse of the Doctor with his new companion.
The segment is due to appear during the 8:30-9:00pm slot of the evening, though timings are invariably estimates due to the live nature of the programme.'

In other related news Sherlock lost out on a Best Short-Form TV Drama to Appropriate Adult (which was brilliant if uncomfortable viewing).
However Moffat picked up the Writers' Guild Special Award For Outstanding Writing.
And an episode of the Sarah Jane Adventures picked up an award for Best Children's TV Script. Driving home even more what a sad loss Elizabeth Sladen's passing was.

Did you watch the xmas eps Norc? Curious to your thoughts on them- they are quite a different beast from series episodes, what with being on at the heart of the BBC xmas day schedule and all.
I love these in a twisted sort of way- Who hitting hits mark- painfully. (warning- spoiler filled and emotional!)
