My cousin's wife took this picture of our Boston terriers while they were dog-sitting for us. The one in the foreground, Peaches, is celebrating her first Rescue Day today. The one in the back, Polly, is older and grumpier but they eventually started getting along despite Peaches' hyper-ness.

I wish I hadnt seen that Give her the best, smile a lot cus animals pick up on this, cuddle her, & tell jokes, say any stupid thing that pops in your head, it will ease the tension. I'm so sorry, bungo. Lucky is a beautiful dog. I've been through this process a couple of times with family pets, but was only old enough to fully grasp the decision and the process that went into it the most recent time (last year). I can only imagine how much of a mess I'll be near the end of my special cat's life. Last time we went through this made me question being a pet owner too, and that was a dog I'd only known for a few years.
