Two year old got mauled to death yesterday. One must be watchful with dogs, even the nicest ones. It had never shown aggression (jealousy???) before. Only showed it this once - sadly. I remember our floppy doggie baby (Tessie) getting the boot outside when my little girl was born. Loveliest dog you ever met, but neither me nor the Missus would place absolute trust in her.... and that's paternal btw!
