you guys. we don't have an emergency vet i think, but it wasn't so much an emergency, he's at the vet now though. getting it cleaned and perhaps a few stitches. he'll also get his teeth done and my dad brought scissors and brushes to deal with the worst matting. i'll see if a can get a picture of him later, with the cone of shame.

Poor Leopold 
I had a cat with a lump like that. It was above his eye, sort of eyebrow area. it burst & all this blood & goo poured out. My puss was more bothered with it trickling down his eye & nose than anything else. I got cream from the vets that I had to squeeze in the gap made by what was an abscess. It knitted skin back together, but, puss had to have teeth removed as vet said it was a tooth that caused it ! Didnt 'arf bleed a lot ! yuk !

Yeah, yucky business. Leopold is on penicillin now and we're cleansing it and when it isn't inflamed we'll sew it he has a cone of shame and keeps bumping into everything and has trouble scrtchibg his ear. And he whimpers in his sleep. I'll go an comfort him.
