Do what I do when I realise a post is getting lengthy- open up notepad (its nice and quick) and just copy and paste your post every so often into it (rembering to make a quick save each time) and you shouldn't lose anything again.

There there dear one, to know you and this site is to love you dearly. Everything has its season, sometimes we have a quick moment to read something but don't reply. But we are homing Elves, Hobbits and such here. How could have you possibly thought that? Haven't you been reading my posts? Though I think I finally persuaded a few die hard purists with my idea of putting angel wings on the elves (call them angelves hahaha! ) and spicing up the tedious White Council with a bit of sex
