Azriel's been MIA for a couple of months (I think it was computer problems), Petty's absent due to his own computer problems (which are supposed to be resolved by today), Dave's got his harvest coming in right now, Ally/CC have been dealing with IRL stuff lately as far as I know, Chris is in self-imposed exile ... I dunno about the rest, but that's a big chunk of our activity right there.

And Orwell's off guarding the boundaries of Little Forumshire with a pitchfork.   Ah well.

well.. i am still here..  although.. next week i have a shitload of stuff coming up so i might be absent  if i can discipline myself lol..


and btw.. i did not chase of chris.

He had a strong reaction to an already known entity. "Self imposed exile" is a good description. On the other hand, somebody new to the forum may have had a similar reaction. I'll leave it at that.

it was an off the cuff comment about Oz that did the damage, the rot set in from there.

I do hope Chris returns, I still dont know exactly what this was all about but I am sure it could have been settled more productively. Or at the very least we could all have got drunk and had a big fight about it.  

 I thought Norc and Chris did get drunk and have a big fight about it --- my knowledge is scanty though...

I havn't heard from Azriel in a while Mrs Figg, she was staying in regularish touch, at least a quick message every other week but not heard anything since last time I mentioned it  I do hope all is well with her and she will find her way back here soon. Same goes for Chris.)

This is my favorite forum, I can actually keep up with things here, no peppermint and weird brackets. I think because Chris is highly intelligent he is sensitive, but I miss him a lot. It feels as if a much loved cousin from the land beyond has suddenly gone missing.
It is such  a busy time of year. Trav had three people not show up two or three days in a row, so in addition to Clayton being chef and I with my job we also worked through the night three days in order to help him. So none of us had more than about two hours sleep in twenty four three days and I feel so tired. At my own job yesterday I kept forgetting which job I was at for a bit, weird  And I had to take Hasia and she talked through all the nights and when I tried to get a tiny bit of sleep at home between jobs she kept talking into my ear to wake me up. Or rub my head, or talk about Club Penguin and Ming Ming. What a nightmare.

You know Orwell you used to be on here so often, I miss that too, /you were food for thought for the day and I miss hearing about your son and daughter and the missus.
Oh dear yes I am holding her hostage but I am feeding her well and oh my she is so pretty , I think I shall keep her a while, she so brightens the house. I shall take good care of her and let all the neighbors hang with her a while and then she shall take wing and fly home and you will hear from our darling AZ.

i actually had to go back and look if Chris actually said something before he left. but nope. and i don't think he'll be back. and i think he blames it all on me (sorry guys for making him leave..) and the fact that it he just left and never read my final replies may have contributed even more. it all started with a stupid gif:

and then it continued on the star trek thread with chris deliberately wanting to piss me off by making a fancy comment on cumberbatch's looks (as if that is enough to piss me off, he must think so little of me.. idk, it pissed me more of that that was his way of pissing me of, more than anything)

it is sad. I think he would have got your Fyordlandian sense of humour by now? thats just your brand of humour and nobody thinks that underneath you are not sensitive to other peoples feelings. I think Chris just got rubbed up the wrong way about something. he was very good at finding nice photos and maybe he got upset at a comment about one of his pictures. I dunno, I just wish he would come back to sort things out and maybe be honest about his feelings, if he didnt like something he should have said. I know if I post a photos and somebody says something negative its upsetting, so I do understand that bit.

Dont worry about it. He will come back when he is good and ready.
