Babies are just like old folk- wrinkles, shit, sudden smells and suspicously knowing smiles.

I think female cats especially are the full embodiement of the female- by that I mean they are totally ruthless.

My kitten is 3months old & Im scared to the point of having him exorcised by the Vatican ! He swings off the flesh of my legs like a pendulum, ears back,demonic look on his face. And he WONT let go, no matter how hard you shake your leg. Ive seen car crash victims with less scars than Ive got.

I had quite a lot of cat scars growing up. I remember one time in the changing rooms alex mccreary saying "Look at those scars, no wonder no one loves Ally!"

That really hurt me.

Poor Ally! But never fear its blemishes and differences that make a women. Its the little marks, the particular lines on a persons face, the love handles, the peculiarities of that persons body that you come to love. Thats where character is.

My cats just had that, but it still turns into a Linda Blair.
Its so annoying when your asleep in bed and the thing jumps on you from nowhere

Saw a very interesting program last night that claims the problem with people's cats is they try to keep them inside. But cats are pure predators, so when you keep them cooped up inside it messes with their heads something fierce. You gotta let them go out and pounce on things, then when they come back they won't be so wacked out. Makes sense to me.

They advocated cat harnesses for taking cats on walks, but it seemed to take a full month of training before kitty doesn't freak out when you try to put the damn thing on.

When I was a kid growing up we'd just let the cats wander the neighborhood (both parents were farmers) and we never had issues with cats acting freaky indoors. They ended up being held together mainly by scar tissue, but they were pretty contented cats.

cats walk free out here too, no prob, as long as people don't give them food and invite them home, then they'll just adopt another family and get fat, and ofcourse most of them are sterilised. My neighbour kitten is my best friiend, it's so sweet

The cat that we had when I was a little kid used to go for walks with us on her own, no leash or harness or anything. She'd tag along and tease all the dogs we passed. She was an outdoor cat in general, though.

All three of my cats come in and out as they please unless I lock the door as the little buggers can use doorhandles.
Although the youngest, Sisko, will only go out if its both very quiet and dark- he seems to be afraid of daylight although he does spend all day at windows watching the birds, and bad as it is for my nerves if the windows open he goes out and leaps about between my window sill and the neighbours-I'm a floor up.

my daughters cat would climb the side of our building like a furry Spiderman, It was amazing to watch how fast it could go & how it could hang on to nothing but brickwork.
