Having to move a heavy, awkwardly large table down a narrow staircase, thats whats making me crabbit, but especially skinning your knuckles of a rough clad wall trying to manovere the bloody thing round a corner!!

why would anyone want to move a large awkward table down a narrow creepy staircase anyway? just leave it where it was. Tables dont like being moved, they squeak in protest, and their table magic gives you small irritating injuries. splinters and paper cuts, dirt under the finger nails, snags and jumper rips. its their magic, like a house elf magic, only without the big ears.

ANSA) - Turin, December 26 - A flyer displayed on a church bulletin board by a priest in the northern region of Liguria, and then subsequently posted on the social network Facebook by outraged members of the congregation, has caused an uproar for allegedly "encouraging" violence against women.

The priest from the San Terenzo church in the town of Lerici, father Piero Corsi, entitled the leaflet "Women and femicide - healthy self-criticism. How often do they provoke?".

The lengthy discussion written by Corsi asks if men are just "randomly crazy, or are they pushed?".

"The fact is that women are increasingly the cause...and end up exacerbating tensions by leaving children to themselves, keep dirty houses, put cold dishes on the table, buy fast food and provide filthy clothes. So if a family goes to the dogs and is pushed to crime (violence must be condemned and punished firmly) often the responsibilities are shared".

The bulletin also examines sexual violence against women, noting that women and girls often "go around dressed provocatively".

Maria Gabriella Carnieri Moscatelli, president of the Italian emergency hotline Telefono Rosa said on Wednesday that the flyer was a "true instigation to violence against women" and called for both Premier Mario Monti and Pope Benedict XVI to speak out against the message.

According to the association, sexual violence causes more fatalities among women in Italy than cancer and is most often committed by a spouse or former partner.
Italy has the highest percent of femicide in Europe...a message like this (by Corsi) is unacceptable," Moscatelli said.

On the issue of how women dress. I'm not one to seek controversy as you guys know full well, but I just must make comment!

If a woman dresses scantilly she will attract more male (and probably, female) attention. The Law of Probability suggests to me that the more males who see a scantilly clad woman, the higher the probability that they will be sexually assaulted by one of them given an opportunity.

Not by me, I assure you!

But not every male respects a woman's right to physically express (dress?) herself. Scantiness is an open invitation to some. Logic tells me that the more males who notice a scantilly clad woman, the higher the likilhood she will attract sexually aggressive attention. I'm not suggesting any 'Rightness' in this behaviour, I'm just suggesting women should show some wisdom about where and when they dress provocatively.

I can't tell you how many times I've found women walking home late at night (or early in the morning) in lanes and streets where no one can hear you scream. Their foolishness is frightening. Do they think their 'Rights' will be respected by some desperate (and possibly drunk, drugged or deluded) prick wandering around the streets? {{{The answer is, "No" btw!}}}

To brave the storm and stick a head above the parapet here Norc I would say its not about telling someone what to wear but dressing in a manner that is concious of the actual nature of the human race.
You wouldnt wear a meat jacket to goon a lion safari afterall.
