Conveys a very strict attitude Norc, I like that- he looks like someone has just made him very crabbit- porbably just saw PJ's LotR's. Nod
Is that chalk or pastel?

*googled translated charcoal* no, it's not. I love the technique though. It's graphite pencils on rough paper. My favourite ones. Like these. no wood, just all pencil-thing. and it's quite blown up. the drawing is much smaller in reality, so it looks like the pencils I used were larger.

Strangely that thought never crossed my mind!
Not used graphite pencils in years, not since college I don't think (I did Graphic design at college with a focus on print and design- so anyone need a t-shirt print run up I'm your hobbit. Very Happy )

Mmmm, a Forumshire T-shirt- there's a thought.
Any suggestions for what should be on it? (I think the back should be like a cast list with all the main members names on it. You know the way concert t-shirts have all the gig dates on the back-sort of like that).

Regular posters would be the sensible way to go. There only is about a dozen folks post here regular so should be able to get everyone on the back easy enough- its what goes on the front is the question. Something subtle or something bold? Thinking caps on folks.
I can do the printing easy enough.

First question is basically big or small?- do we want something subtle- a Forumshire logo say and nothing more discreetly placed? Or something bold and covering most of the front?

omg I am geeking out at this t-shirt idea, I would love to know what the word Forumshire looks like in Elvish, maybe we could have it in Elvish script in an arc and then below that the picture we have as a banner in a circle under the Elvish word, and then under that some Tolkienesque lettering saying 'home of free spirits' or summat like that, and then on the back all our avatars. Laughing

GEEKING OUT! bounce

or or something like, 'say Forumshire and enter' in Elvish script?

I dont think we should use the banner- as its copyrighted image- Eldo got permission to use it I believe, being the concentious sort he is. Mad
We can use the Aniron script font however which Forumshire on the banner is wirtten in. But the design will have to be our own creation.
And I think it shoud somehow strive to represent the forum rather than the films or even just Tolkien.

Its always been about the people really, thats what makes it special. We just a need a way to reflect that somehow. scratch Thinking caps on folks!

I di have a thought about the back- the 'concert dates' idea- we could have differnet places like concert shirts do- Ozhobbbitstan, Scotsdale, Fjordianland ect with the name of members from each.
