Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
I'll take a peek, although I'm currently getting into full HYPE mode for The Dark Knight Rises, which hits theatres in just a week, so I might hold off on starting with any other series currently.
Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
29 miniute episode- no reason you HAVE to watch the entire series.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
Ive just seen that girl in BBC1s "The Secret of Crickley Hall". It was a 3parter ghost story about how orphans,in the care of a religious nut case brother & sister combo, were treated & how they eventually perished. Story line was good, but not creepy enough for me. Also had a 2nd story running along side about a woman who had lost her son & ended up staying at Crickley Hall. It was full of flash backs, but i felt the ending was a bit weak. Funny how Christmas looms nearer we get ghost or horror stories, yet on Halloween, when you expect something scarey, theres bugger all ?

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
I'm pretty sure GRRM created the character as an homage to JRRT.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire
yeah, me too Game of Thrones is just more modern.. i mean. idk.. it's kinda hard to see who's the bad guys and who's not. i mean, it's not black and white as in ME. you can sympathize and dislike every single one of the character, although, now in season two, they "lines" between good and bad have definitely sharpened.
