Re: Religous debates and questions
if I can figure out why women like shoes so much the doors to the universe will lay helplessly open before me- Halfy
I dont have a reason why but I supect future generations will look back on womens shoes in much the same way we now do on powderd wigs so large they have entire birdcages in them.
For some reason women grasp onto some 'thing', then on mass go a bit mad and start wearing increasingly riiculous versions of whatever it might be.
Tis a strange facet of the female mind! {{{Like there is any other kind of facet}}}

I'd have thought on your farm theyd need more than boots to protect them.

Re: Religous debates and questions
Thankyou Halfy ! Im GUESSING its cos high heels make your legs look long & sexy, thus attracting you guys, cos we know your brains are NOT in your head ! I dont think girls do the heels for themselves really. You only have to watch them tottering down the road to see that. Pointy toes are SO uncomfortable !! but, they also seem to make ones legs look long, sexy & touchable. Legs lead to "lady bits" (durrrr!) & guys like the old "lady bits" ! I think girls like to have power over men thru sex, that could mean whether or not girls let guys have a "bloody good time" or not !. Its an ego boost also, knowing guys are looking at your legs,( & thinking "Id do her!") & girls being able to say yea or nay ! But, Im only guessing ! trying to look sexy in wellies is the ultimate "pull" of the century !! & thats GOT to be some weirdo if you can !!

Re: Religous debates and questions
Not sure, Azriel; I've heard it said that women dress up for other women. Men certainly don't find pointy toes sexy, though perhaps many like the goofy high heel walk (not me). I think it may be a combo: women in high heels certainly do stand out due to the swaying walk, and then a culture develops around them that leaves men behind. We certainly are NOT looking at the shoes, wasting any time admiring the shoes, or give a fig what color the shoes are. That's all women's territory.

Re: Religous debates and questions
I never dress up for ANYONE, I dress to please MYSELF. I dress to suit the occasion of course, but thats all. I dont give a flying "fffff" what other people think. & anyway, how can you run in 7inch heels when youve got "cranberry Dave" behind you !

I've heard this a lot- and it always amazes me that by a staggering coicnidence the way women dress to please themselves when going out on the town is remarkably similar to how men would like them to dress.

Re: Religous debates and questions
Or being picked out as the only weirdo with 3 layers of hippy OR goth clothes, maxi skirt, flat boots & Velvet coat or my long Afghan is a mans idea of "night out" clothes ? Oh yeah, & all my "colours" dont bloody match, giving that weird "witch of the woods" look ! Love it ! And cos my feet are always cold, thick woolly tights & a pr of socks.

Re: Religous debates and questions
When I stayed in Glasgow I was frankly amazed by the lines of ladies outside nighclubs in a freezing January night wearing what appeared to be a hankerchief, belonging to a mouse.
I have no idea how they didnt die- I was freezing going by and in that weather I wear about 3 jumpers and a coat I could get stabbed in and the blade wouldnt get to the other side (mind you thats always a good sort of coat to wear in Glasgow!)

Re: Religous debates and questions
I'm actually attracted to women who dress different, and sensibly. I like to see the hot tight dress on occasion, but only if there's a reason for it. No doubt some young women are on the prowl and more power to them, but going out with friends and no intention to pick up a bloke....in those circumstances dressing in spikes and freezing your ass off just screams 'airhead' at me. NOT attractive.
(Okay, I may have fantasies about giving her a well deserved spanking, but that's entirely beside the point....)
