Yes I can actually. I have an alesis thing that I use on my guitar as it is not an acoustic-electric, and I do have a microphone. I can shove the two tracks together on audacity.

It's getting darker here in the evenings, and this is a song I usually come back to this time of the year. It's a Norwegian classic, but I wonder what you non-fjordians will think of it You won't notice it of course, but this is one of the nicest Norwegian dialects in my opinion.

A very calming song to listen to. It feels kinda inappropriate to listen to while it's still broad daylight outside but I'll put on again around dusk.

The translation is not entirely correct it seems, I think they've tried to make it fit the melody. It's pretty similar though. As you can see it's not the happiest of songs, but like you said, Eldo, it's calming

It's not a word for word translation, but the english lyrics fit the melody, so I think that's why the translation is a bit off I used to dislike the song as well, but it started to grow on me after a while, and now I like it a lot

What makes the song dislikable? As a tinwhistle player myself that addition definitely raises quality.  

Not sure why "cold" was substituted for "black". maybe "dark" would work best?

I don't know really, it's just a song that most people like, and if you're crabbit at heart, you'll automatically dislike it - that was the case for me, at least I've listened to it every now and then for a long time now, I guess my taste changed at some point

I do love Nightwish, when Tarja was singing. Annette is great too, but I miss the opera.

I haven't listened to Nightwish after Tarja quit, but not because I don't like the new one. The band just isn't what it was anymore, Tarja's voice was epic

I was bored and put together a song with lots of samples from different places. Have an idea for a real song to record but wont be able to this weekend as I need to get my bass guitar back home and cleaned up (as sure it wont work at the moment).
