Flopsy is whispering in my ear that eels are jolly nice on toast, but Mr.Nibbs says squeeze that eel till its eyes bulge out, him being my guard cat. I am inclined to agree with him but ladies dont squeeze gentlemens eels, unless sorely provoked.

I agree, Mrs Figg, any respectable gentlehobbit should have his Lady squeeze and tenderize his eel, then she can fry it in olive oil and slice it - thinly mind - and placed upom fresh crusty loaves. A decent hobbit's eel should be given proper culinary respect by his Lady - always. I suspect you are a connosiuer (horrid word to spell, that), of fine eels, Mrs Figg, am I right?

Indeed Sir I am a connesewer, there was a time I would have bent over backwards for a lightly salted eel, unfortunately I have a delicate tum so they are now off the menu.
