Err... Odo has been talking for me again... Who does he think he is, pretending to be me, and clearly being Him... Talk about unrespectable! (Either that, or I'm getting tired. Better have lunch. I was going to about an hour or so ago, and I still have Petty's story still to read... Looking forward to that -- but when my mind gets clearer!)

Odo hasn't been living up to his title of Respectable Hobbit of Needlehole very well lately, has he? Perhaps a good lunch would also serve him well.

I've heard cinnamon can be quite hallucinative... I better have lunch too... I think my brain is starved Eldo, you're quite right....

Dear Odo Orwell, it is not respectable to tattle and especially so I can read it dear. You will never get me to believe now, even if you sent some dna that the two of you are not one. I think dear you have a bit too much time on your hands. Whatever your reason for this intrigue it is not my business, just carry on. But I know better now than to confide EVER in Orwell.

As to Odo, leelee, I suspect he does have too much time on his hands. As to me, I'm a cop and do shift work, so if I spend my idle hours - when not doing community work at my basketball club coaching children - unwinding in Forumshire, surely this can't be held against me. I have my cares in the world, but I do enjoy spending time in this Fantastic Land where the imagination can be let loose. I don't watch much tv either. This is largely my tv - when not reading fact and fiction! In fact, very shortly, I will be jumping into the shower and heading off to work. Shame. I'd rather stay here.

Did you really think I wanted leelee banned, Eldo? If I had I would not have sent it by encrypted message that leelee could plainly see. It was a joke like all the others. Pleeeeease folk, lighten up. Leelee is welcome here like anyone else. If she says condescending things I'll take her on, but bear no grudges. We all at times have had tense moments, yet come out of these situations still friends. And if she learns that we play games here and use our imaginations, pretend even to fight and deride each other, in other words, learns that much of our banter is just that, banter, then I'm sure she'll adapt.

I notice on another thread that she is leaving us. It's her call. Noom did a similar thing once but then sucked it up and came back (though we seem to have misplaced him again). I see no reason why she can't come back. All are welcome. I have no expectation that she even like Orwell or the Bankses (or Petty, who is indeed not Me as you know only too well). Liking us, as everyone here knows, is not at all mandatory.

Btw generally I refuse to patronize anyone here by explaining my jokes, because I trust you to get my jokes, and don't doubt, either, that you recognise my bouts of nonsense for what it is, nonsense. As always, if I manage to offend, let me know, for it's never my intent.

I thought all this was sorted. The name of the poster is the name of the poster. If Pretty posts its Pretty posting if its me its me, this aint rocket science. Take every poster as they are and we will all have a lot more fun. As to folk taking things the wrong way, if any offence has been given to anyone it has certanly not been meant as such. There's no reason to leave us leelee just because things can seem a bit confusing at first, thats just life. Stay with us, go with the flow (i thought elves were good at that?) and don't read to much into things- most of what gets posted is for entertainment value.
