Squach seems to be suffering from a serious case of the spams, Eldo. I suggest she be banned permanently from Forumshire! As if that kind of behaviour can be tolerated!

I'd certinaly protest to such an action, in fact I think I have been posting just as many random posts than Squach!

There's always that solution where there's just a spam thread, but rightnow, it seems EVERY thread is.
Some cleaning up needs to be done. when time permits.

It will never happen, your Majesty. I have been waging that war with Eldorion for longer that I can remember. He never does anything about it. If I had my way, people who bring up stuff unrelated to thread titles would be banned from Forumshire altogether. Sadly, Eldo leans to the Left and kowtows to the Liberals! And, of course, if we banned all the folk who don't respect the Threads, only the Bankses would be left here. Mmm... on second thought... not such a bad idea...

Odo, you do realise that when I came on this morning, you were all over the threads, so you can't exactly tell me off either! A forumshire of Bankes would wreak havoc everrywhere!

Btw, you are saying that if we so much as post once off topic, we should be banned! That is hardly fair! Our roaming minds must roam to their roaming content, must they not?

We have a saying in Rushock Bog (below Needlehole) and that is: "Roman hands get burned on the grill." It's about what happened to the Roman Emperor Alfred the Great, I believe, but serves to teach a valuable (broader) meaning. (Mind, it might have been cakes that were burned!)


TANGENT: There is another saying we have about "Roman hands", but one which has never made any sense to me. I mean, what could could Roman hands possibly have to do with the Russians and their fingers? This is the problem with oral tradition, much as I support it, meanings can become very muddled over time, even meaningless...)

I sense the use of "encryption" spells, Eldo. Can you please look into it. Only certain respectable people should be allowed to use them! In the wrong hands... well, you must know how dangerous they can be!

Something wierd, nay uncanny going on around here. I keep thinking I can hear voices but when I try to listen, nothing. Mmm. I smell magic. Reminds me of that time before the Picnic, and its nearly that time of year again. That reminds me I need to see about booking that Elven Disco again for this years. I wonder if it should be fancy dress again too?

Anything that was un-fancy would be incongruous, I'd think.

It's been far too long since we had a good forum-wide party.

Oh no.... Just make sure it's not at my place... Nor do we Bankses need to know where it's held (especially Porgy). I'm banning all Bankses from attending such banquets! They always seem to end in tears for the truly innocent (i.e. Bankses).

We hate to disappoint... I'll have to see how things fall out. But should we end up attending, it might well be without Porgy and Biffo, who might be in some kind of trouble. Mirabella has been looking at them strangely. I'm sure it can't be BIG trouble. Nothing like what's being said in that horrible rag, NotR. I feel Mirabella just has doubts about their friendship, that's all. That's all it will be.

Party?

Indeed. The 2nd Annual Forumshire Picnic and Elven Disco- I throw one every year, or at least it will be every year once I've thrown this years. Announcements will be made soon, but it is traditional for forum residents to come dressed as other forum residents- I do wish we still had last years account, but sadly the Planet of Death ate it, it would be easier than explaining the peculuraties of the Picnic.
But rest assured all are invited (minors with supervision mind, in case they get at the buckie).

No worries, I'll get Eldo to explain anything else I want to know tomorrow. Sounds fun.
