I think I've had enough! Isn't it time we kept on topic on the threads? I get such a headache trying to keep up with things! It seems especially important we do something about it now that we're marketing Forumshire elsewhere. What will people think? I have no desire to be tarred with the same brush as the rest of you! No way!

Surely marketing elsewhere is about inviting like minded souls to partake in our free spirited discussions, changing just to attract more people is simply being a slave to popular opinion. That would be worse than having rules!

But I'm not sure I like your mind, Kafria! What if a whole set of unrespectable thinkers were to come here? Haven't we got enough of that sort as it is?

But I respect your right to dislike my mind and tell me too! that's the free spirit thing, for if we have to start posting on the right thread and expressing only respectable thoughts (and whose opinion will we base what is respectable on?) it would be wrong of you to suggest there is something amiss with my mind or that other people are unrespectable

If we are to adhere to respectable rules it is disrespectful and impolite to comment on the nature of someones ability to think correctly

Odo - If men are sooooooo obssesed with the housework (and in my experience they are usually far worse than the women!) maybe they should just get on and do it themselves (then they can also mutter about if you want a job doing properly do it yourself in a suitably annoyed hiss. Give the poor dears something to do!

Is that a good thing?

She means "coracle" I think. A small boat. So incorrigible actually should read "in coracle." That is, "to paddle in an unwieldy fashion" -- they are prone to roll over easily, coracles - just like McTyrants it's said.

Buckie and boats don't mix- so it wasn't a good thing then? Lucky I have you around Odo to keep my buckie-fried brain on track or I might never have known I'd been insulted!

That's the problem with the fairer folk, Mr Tyrant - subtle --- well, impenetrable, and cunning - in a low kind of way - been trouble ever since Pandora opened her box... Trouble makers in other words - unless they've got a male around to supervise them - for their own good...

I wonder where Ally has gone? Do we need to send out a search party? If she's just neglecting us, then I think Eldorion might rebuke her on our behalf.

Oh happy day - you're back! You know ou've worried me, Ally, no doubt off with other new friends you've made, tap dancing, carolling under the pine trees and drinking buckie-and-cokes by the buckeload, but you might have kept in touch! In future, you must not disappear like that (we almost sold your house in Forumshire - for a tidy profit actually!) Henceforce, if you must go off like that ( ) you MUST pop in once a week to at least let us know you haven't died - or worse - gone off to some other forum! ( )
