I never mentioned Illuvatar! I don't need to believe in Illuvatar I can get Tin to take messages to Illuvatar if I want whilst she's in Valinor. Believing in Illuvatar is like believing in a table- you can if you want to but what's the point?

Actually Eru (praise be your big shiny awesomeness) my point was more that there is no need to believe in things which exist. Its is not required. It will continue to exist whether you believe in them or not. I'm not so sure that holds true for Gods. (or at a quantum lever either for that matter).
Maybe God was just an early quantum waveform that as the Universe developed and expanded collapsed!
