I keep trying to tell Wisey that not everything channelled is necessarily for public digestion, but does he listen, NEVER!

I think it might have been "swelly". Some things are not always absolutely typographically correct (...ooh... it'a bit possible, your Majesty... )

It's alright, Wisey, it's just with my perfect nose, I know for a fact that I don't smell

Are you saying, you can't "smell" so have not "noticed"?

I may have noticed -- but I do notice those kinds of things.

Loki I dreamt you were a teacher at Hogwarts. And I couldn't really decide if you were on Umbridge's side or Fred and George Weasley's side. I'm guessing both.

Re: Is God evil - or just lazy?
Well, what an education THAT was ! just read thru all these amazing posts. Ok,Lorient may well have ruffled feathers quite a bit, but,at least hes got "fire in his belly" & at a young age. Looking back on this,in say a yrs time ?, he will see things in a different light. Could even be embarrassed by it all ?, Orwell & Petty sparring off, injection from others, gallons of "oil on the water", nearly forgot what this thread is all about ?, My VIEW,(opinion only!) is that God, isnt the savior we hope he is. I dont believe in a Heaven full of fluffy wuffy angels, I DO believe theres so much we DONT know about our world, What is reincarnation & why do people believe it so much ? Why do we "feel" weve done or said something before it happens,(deja vou) Why are people scared of ghosts, graveyards at night etc ? My question is.. If god made Man,& in His likeness, why did he make Dinosaurs 1st ? were they a "test drive"? Or,.. why make dinosaurs at all ? I personally believe God was created to calm the masses, make people more easily managed,by the Tyrants of the day. (NOT Pettys sporran !) Id be really interested in the question of...IF there was NO religion,of any kind,in the world, How would we,as humans,be today ? If we didnt have the Get out clause of a merciful God to wash clean our sins ? (Im just heading off to my under ground bunker, in case I get verbally bombed, Im a coward at heart ! )

As are we all, as are we all.
That's probably why we create God's and such-like - to make us feel a little less scared --- or a little more - for crowd control purposes, you see!
Fear in the natural world keeps creatures alive a lot of the time, so with the development (evolution) of 'thinking' came God/s to give us both a sense of order and a semblance of hope, because with 'thinking' came questions on the bitter shortness (and viciousness?) of life. Gods were maybe unavoidable as we sat around the cave-fire scared of shadows, knowing that the darkness was even deeper beyond them....
What a conundrum! Belief in the non-existent was evolutionarily unavoidable!
Well, that's almost as tricky an idea as 'why anything?'

Re: Is God evil - or just lazy?
n the Beginning, God created heaven and earth and then he created man.
God said, "Adam, I want you to do something for me."
Adam said, "Gladly, what do you want me to do?"
God said, "Go down into that valley."
And Adam said, "What's a valley?"
And God explained it to him.
Then God said, "Then go over the hill."
And Adam said, "What is a hill?"
And God explained that to him.
Then he told Adam, "On the other side of the hill you will find a cave."
And Adam said, "What's a cave?"
And God explained that to him, then said, "In the cave you will find a woman."
And Adam said, "What's a woman?"
So God explained that to him too, and said, "I want you to reproduce."
And Adam said, "How do I do that?"
So God explained it to him.
Off went Adam, down into the valley, over the hill, and into the cave and there he found the woman. In about ten minutes, Adam was out of the cave, over the hill, through the valley and back with God.
God patiently asked, "Yes ... how can I help you, Adam?"
And Adam said, "What's a headache?"
God said, "Adam, I want you to do something for me."
Adam said, "Gladly, what do you want me to do?"
God said, "Go down into that valley."

So that's where it all began. I've always thought it was where it all begat.
