Hey! Thats a bloody good idea. Nod And that way I could have more than one straw and drink from more than one barrel at a time! cheers

You're a genius! Kissing Now Figg has left me fancy a weekend in a giant ball hanging from some tress with a drunkard in a kilt who is connected to buckie by a lot of straws? I'll need someone to help me out when I get so drunk I try to get home by walking and go round and round like a hamster on a wheel until I start panicking and/or vomiting  {{Its these sort of romantic opportunities with me Figg will be kicking herself about missing you know Nod }}}

I can well imagine the insurance agent telling him "Lessee, you're insured up to a quarter million for collision, fire, water damage, vandalism, falling trees, meteorites, ... sorry Sir - nothing about highly reflective parabolic buildings in here."

Dont know if the vid will play outside the uk or not, but the brain is one weird thing!

'A woman from Plymouth who developed a Chinese-sounding accent after being rushed to hospital with a migraine says she has accepted that her local accent may never return.
Sarah Colwill features in a BBC documentary in which she learns to live with what is known as foreign accent syndrome.'

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23953314

Foreign Accent Syndrome. And that is so typical of medicine when it doesnt have a clue whats going on- just give it a name that merely describes the symptoms and hope it sounds better in latin!

Youve got me beat on steam trains (excepting novelty ones kept running for tourism) but we had paraffin lamps when I was a kid, and a portable calor gas heater for the mornings, pre central heated houses, when in the winter there would be fantastical ice patterns all over the insides of the windows.
And we had a rag and bone man too, and chimney sweeps, and the coal truck making deliveries, and a coal cellar to keep it in.
I miss proper fires a lot. Sad

I remember tupperware from a young age scratch It was a big thing- everyone had it, cups, sandwich boxes, plates- all tupperware!

But the best thing was proper sweet shops- with stuff in jars- and you got it in a paper bag by the ounce.
