I agree the trailer falls flat on emotion. It's the spectacle that excites me now.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
Yeah, you'd think they could save confusion by holding off on the announcement a few months.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
"Juego de Tronos" Never realized how cute a direct translation could be.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
What spoilers are there to avoid? The show's overtaken the books, the cast hasn't said much beyond "things get exciting" and "it's cold".

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
if you go to Youtube there are fanatical show followers who have secretly filmed every move. I accidentally clicked on one and got massively spoiled about one thing before I had time to shut it off.
I was looking for non-spoilery news. But have since avoided everything apart from official trailers.

Production reports, set visits, leaks, snooping, etc. Jon's resurrection last season was "spoiled" (not that we really needed the confirmation) by someone with a telephoto lens who took a picture of the filming location for the Battle of the Bastards which, when zoomed in, showed Kit Harrington in full costume talking to the director. And there are paparazzi roaming the streets of Belfast (as well as people scouring social media), where the show is filmed, taking photos to confirm that GOT actors were in the city during production, which can give an indication of which characters (especially minor ones) might be returning in each new season.
Re: Game of Thrones [2]
yep all that. basically stay away from Youtube if you don't want to be spoiled.

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
Is Sansa the strong wolf of the pack then?
Strange that there was no sign of Mr. Hund in that trailer, or did I miss it?

Re: Game of Thrones [2]
Sansa being a survivor violates the rule that only the Starks whose wolves survive will themselves survive. But I suppose that went by the wayside with the resurrection of Jon Snow.
