Hey that's some useful Who trivia to impress my cousin with when we go see it, thanks Petty!

That lead in Cats looks just a bit too...um...nubile. A sort of uncanny valley in costuming. I haven't seen the stage version of Cats but my impression is all the slinkiness was covered up in fur so didn't put disturbing things in your head.

{{ Not sure about The Witcher- but then I've never read the books only played the games so hard to tell in terms of adaptation. I shall be relying on my younger brother for his judgement on that as he has read the books. }}

The fat cats put in for body humour... (where's the barfing emoticon?)

The trailer's so deceptive and mindless. Carefully calculated to inspire a certain series of emotions in the viewer, but consisting of nothing but visuals, music, and context-less buzz-word-fueled lines of dialogue.

"Are you going to try for a better life too?" "I haven't seen you before, have I?" smiles lovingly "Here we go! Haha!"
BLECH

James Corden is awful.

Edit: How the heck did an entire musical about cat-people even become popular in the first place?

Nothing like it had ever been done before, and the music is incredible. If someone with a track record does something crazy people are willing to follow him because of that record. Paid off in spades in this case.

The Richard III clip is blocked in my country, of course!

As soon as the ticking noise started in the 1917 preview I thought to myself, "Ah yes, I too saw the trailer for Dunkirk." This is at least the second time Burntduck Crumblybatch has played a WWI officer after War Horse. I guess he's got the face for it: goes well with a moustache.

The colouring for that movie reminds me of the Peter Jackson documentary actually!

(But was there no grand excitement for The Lighthouse?) If the film's dialogue is as tastily era-appropriate as in The Witch, I will be greatly pleased.

I see Disney are re-doing all the classic animations to fit in with today's technology. Id watch Lady/Tramp but I wouldn't pay to go to the cinema to see it. The Underwater one looks creepy, Id like to see that one.

The Tramp film had "Original fim streaming November 12" at the end of it. Does that mean that the original will be streaming on that date (isn't it already?) or that they just called a re-make an "original film". Bloody hell, stop remaking your movies!! Mad

Yep, classics should not be remade. Unless it's A Star is (re)Born, for which remaking it is sort of a Hollywood hobby.

Or Robin Hood (about 15 times) or Last of the Mohicans (9 films) or Frankenstein (dozens) or any of the other endless re-makes.
