A long weekend! Now there's an idea!

While I do very much like the regular forum theme, I always chickened out on my practical jokes as a mod/admin and cut them short, so I admire the confidence it takes to follow through on it.

Got to mark the day somehow, I feel. First year we had that great ficiton historic event written down for future generations challenge. Last year we (or I) basically forgot about it. So I thought this might be a fun (for me at least!) way to shake things up a bit.

I just realized Forumshire has no checks and balances. Bucky and Bustles, yes, but no court of review. I'd like to slap a restraining order on this color scheme.

If I didn't know any better I'd say you all don't like these wonderfully calm colours.
But I shall not spoil you too much with all this goodness, it's better you have something to look forward to next year.

It's been a greyt DP weekend. Bryan Adams concert on Friday, Vaiana/Moana movie with the kids on Saturday, and mother's day yesterday ice skating with the kids and then visiting my mom.

Ah, the wash of green is so soothing across my eyeballs.

Sorry about your classmate. I just had an acquaintice die of lung cancer a few days ago. Some sad introspection, then we must soldier on.

Yeah, that's life, sadly... He wasn't a classmate though, but it is still a bit early to check out at 67. He could have been nils-ing for many years yet.

Sad news. Every hour of every day someone is "popping off". We sorta know it but, it notices more when its someone we know.
