Re: Holidays and absences [3]
We have London Comicon this weekend. In fact I am at the train station and there are some ladies dressed up!
Edit - quick google search turned one of them up as Asuna Yuuki. Never heard of her but still fun to see.
Edit 2 - More Google searching... the other was Ken Kaneki. Another I have not heard of but then my adventures in that world are extremely limited.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
I saw a couple Asuna cosplayers at ACen; SAO is still a fairly big deal. Don't see as many Tokyo Ghoul cosplays though.
A lot of people have been sharing photos/videos on the ACen FB group and I had to share this one since I didn't get a picture of this particular group of cosplayers, plus I figure you guys might appreciate it.

I was beginning to wonder if you had any time for sight seeing between your posts.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
After two nights in London and two fantastic Jackson Browne concerts in Royal Albert Hall I arrived in Weymouth this morning/noon-ish. Spent the entire afternoon walking along the cliffs - the combination of the ocean on one side and beautiful countryside scenery on the other with the cliffs and the beach in the middle is simply stunning. Felt like I had somehow turned up in Hobbiton, Rohan and the GrEy havens all at once. I'm travelling alone this time, and frankly I think I preferred experiencing this place by myself. I just loved sitting down where I wanted to, taking in the view, and yes - listening to Concerning Hobbits as I did so I took a few pictures and will post when I get home (if I remember to). The weather forecast promises rain tomorrow, so I'll be exploring the town instead of taking another hike. One thing is certain, though - I will be coming back here one day

I'm on important Fjordian business. Palantir silence might become necessary.

Glad you are enjoying the countryside. You are on the Jurrasic coast so see if you can find some fossils on the beach!
Look forward to the pictures.
Amarie (which I say completely differently since I heard your voice a while back) - I hope they are stone ones. If not, I believe even ambassadors go well in a stew!
