Even if I had had a camera... I was behooved; plus I cared not to record my noble but unlasting new visage.
Good grass I was interested in however, for one thing.

Whose it meant to be? I can't remember an electric fire bad guy in LotR's!

Ha.
Looks like a Japanese rp antagonist. Remeber seeing some guy like that for a ps3 trailer way back.
But I'm totally cool if it's Radagast, you know, whatever.

Re: Sauron in the Hobbit
The green hood made me think it was Strider in super-hero mode. He gets like that when you cheese him off.

Re: Sauron in the Hobbit
A little too fetching. He's got to be either totally badass or totally seductive (though in a troubling way).

Re: Sauron in the Hobbit
It would be ridiculous to "show" the Necromancer in the hobbit. May as well bring back the Aragorn/Sauron fight scene outside the Black gates if PJ does.

Re: Sauron in the Hobbit
I would be very surprised if the Necromancer wasn't shown in some form or another. Maybe as an Indiana Jones type unlocking the secrets of the Nazgul and releasing them from their tombs.

Admittedly, that would be an excellent scene, in a "B' grade fantasy... ... but no, No and NO, not in The Hobbit!

Re: Sauron in the Hobbit
well its going to be a B grade fantasy, so I say go the whole hog and show the Necromancer in a creepy crypt with the Ringwraiths, at this point its pure spectacle, might as well go for it.

Re: Sauron in the Hobbit
I hope the necromancer distantly looks like Benedict Cumberbatch that's my only criteria.

You are SO predictable.

Re: Sauron in the Hobbit
What was the Indy with the people that lived under ground and sacrificed girls in the fire pit?
I think Necro should be dressed up as that crazy leader man and be sacrificing dwarves and a breeding stock of Arnorians to appease Melkor. He could have a little crazy mini-necro with a voodoo doll that keeps making Bilbo go all squirmy when he stabs it with pins..... obvioulsy we need Gandalf to be run away from a huge rolling boulder at one point... only escaping by diving in to a room full of skulls and empty toombs.
Could get a Michael Bay/Roland Emmerich duo in charge of pointless special effects and movie incontinuity.
Could get George Lucas involved, head of characters you want to smash in the face with something rusty, jagged and heavy.
Could get the Wachowski brothers to be in charge of all slow motion scenes, including 'arrow-time'.
Could get Joss Whedon to be in charge of character interaction focusing on a love triangle interest between Tauriel, Todd (high school drop out turned Nazgul) and a token Vampire (Rob Pattinson lookalike).
Hold on - Think PJ has most of that covered already.
