Dundee West goes SNP as well- 29% swing from Labour.

And they've taken Falkirk- swing of 24%

So far in Scotland the SNP have taken 8 out of 8. Withthe highest swing from Labour to SNP so far being a staggering 35%

Yeah, the swings for SNP and against Lib Dems are shockingly huge.

George Galloway is out to Labour.

And rumours bubbling the Tories if they form the next government are going to make some sort of big announcement about what to 'to do about Scotland'

So the Westminster parties promised more devolution after the referendum, but a result like this has to force them to do something sooner rather than later.

Glasgow NE is gone- Labours safest Sottish seat has been lost to the SNP. 38% swing to SNP

Lib Dems hold onto Orkney and Shetland. I recall those two island groups were two of the staunchest anti-referendum areas so this isn't too surprising.

Yeah they were and have been Lib Dem for ages- still a 24% swing to the SNP though- just not quite enough.

Who are we rooting for?

Well no surprise I voted SNP- so looking good for them. But not to happy with the overall UK picture- England seem to have gone Tory again, so Tory we shall get.

Simon Hughes Lib Dem MP for 32 years and Justice Secretary just lost his seat to Labour.
The Lib Dem vote has totally collapsed across the country.

Hope Ashdown has his hat ready to eat.

The SNP have broken the 40 seat barrier and are on 41. Incredible result even if they get no more than that.

Salmond has won his seat.

Lib Dems Vince Cable has lost his seat. Thats a shocker.

Labour took one of the Edinburgh area seats but the SNP are up to 48 now.

Like Petty, I like the SNP. In England and Wales, the Greens and Labour are the closest to my views, but only Labour ever had a chance at winning (a chance that has evaporated by now).
