Doctor Who [10]

I wish they would do a reverse regeneration episode where the Doctor wakes up as Tennant and freaks out, then he goes in search od his old companions and they have all moved on and 'forgotten' him, even the Daleks think he is past it and ask him where his new version is because they are creatures of habit and don't like change. He could wander London feeling lost and sorry for himself wondering who he is now. then he finds Clara but its not the real Clara but The Master (Simms) in disguise because he too has been regenerated but is now hiding inside Claras brain. (and he likes wearing makeup and heels much to his surprise)  Obviously Tennant doesn't know all this and he unburdens his soul saying that he regrets stuff and the master thinks he is a jolly good egg and forgives everything, anyway complicated shit happens and the Doctor gets zappedthingie so Clara/Timelord becomes The Doctor. first female Doctor. and then it gets timeywiggly and its all a dream, business as use.

You should be writing for Doctor Who.

If Figg wrote Who there would only be one character- Doctor Rose!

Intriguing yes, much the same way Mel Gibsons accent in Braveheart intrigued Scots as to what nationality it was supposed to be.

Odd she has been gone so long considering how celebrated that episode is. Any particular reason for that?

No idea- she was probably just busy. According to her IDMDb page she has directed quite a lot of big UK tv in the time in-between- including Lewis, Marple, Wallander and Law and Order UK.

According to Moffat he tries to get a mix of male and female directors and writers every series, but for a variety of reasons he hasn't been able to get the female directors and writers he has wanted (although last series did well on its female director and producer quota) its been particularly difficult on the writing front. But it seems to be down to circumstances as opposed to a lack of trying.

True true. Just seems like someone they would have gone out of their way to get back, even before Moffat took over. Same thing could be said for the guy who wrote Dalek though, arguably the best episode in the first season of the new series, though he apparently fell out with RTD.
