There's a local student radio station that I started listening to lately and they've been playing a fair bit of Elle King, who I hadn't heard of before but am starting to really like. This was the first song of hers that I heard.

I rather like the trend among young musicians (Lana Del Ray, etc) to develop styles that are a throwback to the past.

Simon and Garfunkel are great, used to listen to them all the time when I was 15-16

No, hadn't heard that. I've always had a soft spot for songwriters (it is kind my thing), and it doesn't hurt that he's worked with Crosby & Nash. That's normally a pretty good mark of quality.
I always loved how he lived on Crosbys boat while recording his debut album. (Which Crosby does all the harmonies on.)
