They apparently got three Spellemanspris (Norwegian Grammy) nominations. So, perhaps I shouldn't have called them small.
Still, pretty cool song.
Reposting this, as if you are going to listen to one new song today, why not one by a errr... smallish, relatively speaking, I hasten to add, Norwegian group. And it's a great song.
I've been listening to it anyway.

Im not really keen on jazz but, when I have listened to it I like it soft & quiet-ish, like at the beginning of that video, with that 'end of the night' feeling

Re: Music [3]
Yeah, the start is pretty. Although it is that recurring riff in the second part that makes me really love it.

Btw, the title of the song, "Når Det Regne På Presten Dryp Det På Klokkarn", basically means "When it rains on the priest it drips on the bell-ringer".

Re: Music [3]
That's very pretty. Though I think I prefer Warren Zevons original melody. That's only a small quibble though.
Actually, I made a Mutineer cover too for that music stuff thread I made.

It's nothing special, but I thought perhaps you might find it funny as you're the one who introduced me to Warren Zevon.

What a nice little atmosphere song.

How could I ever miss that? Great job, blue, loved it! Simply wonderful. I think Don't let us get sick (also by WZ) would sound great with your guitar and voice (hint, hint.. )

Your version is too short, I keep having to click back to start it again

Re: Music [3]
Well, it's a short song. Although I went back and checked, he does repeat the second verse after the third verse/bridge. And he also have the instrumental parts of course. Which makes the original a fair bit longer. I always loved the version he did on Letterman, that struck me as pretty close to perfection, but I kind of had to go with my own arrangement, as playing it like the original would have required a capo. So, it's a half note lower than the original. And he has a great juxtaposed movement with the bassline that I couldn't quite follow with the different chords, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Glad you liked it.
Hehe, well, I'll see what I can get around to. And it depends on how well it works and everything, but I can try to do some more covers at some point.
