Re: Tales of Home [6]
Do you sell your eggs, Sin? A mere three chickens gives us more eggs than we know what to do with when all three are laying. I've eaten more quiche in the last nine months than in the previous 20 years of my life combined.
Re: Tales of Home [6]
we eat a lot of eggs, give away some, sell some, duck eggs are great for baking, they make cakes much fluffier.
We have talked about selling them, but were not sure. i know when we were selling them we were charging $2.00 for a dozen and a half. Much cheaper than the store which is around $2 per dozen

Re: Tales of Home [6]
Id forgive them the mess just to see such lovely birds
I really, really miss the Hedgerow & garden birds of my youth. All there is here is fooking seagulls, ( white assassins !) & fooking crows ( black accomplices !) Theres cats here yes, but, its the crows & gulls that do most damage & frighten the little birds well away
