I agree with Lance. Portugal have not looked to be on their A game so far this tournament.

I have bought myself a Welsh flag on Amazon for £5. I hope it arrives before the next match against whoever the hell it is. I am half Welsh so its not too ridiculous and I DO like dragons.

I imagine that the winner of France-Germany, whoever it is, will win the Final fairly handily. That side of the bracket was just so loaded.

France with that home field advantage. I hadn't caught many of their matches so far but they played extremely well of course, especially Griezmann.

{{Germany were solid, they always are, but they lack a real playmaker in the midfield and goal scorer.
France on the other hand have Griezmann as you say, and he is a natural box predator and they had a lot more invention in the midfield going forward. That was the difference tonight.
Germany didn't really organise and start looking hungry enough for goal until they were 2 down and the clock was running out. }}}

I went looking for the Andy Murray O Meter but apparently it closed up shop.

Not a thrilling Final but Portugal ended up earning it. Rui Patrício should've been Man of the Match but Pepe was my number two so I can't complain too much about him winning that recognition.

Was actually quite a boring match. Luckily I had some pictures to post here at the same time.

France were the better team... they just didn't pit away their chances. Now where have I heard that before....?

As a moderate insectophobe all those moths (especially the one that landed on Ronaldo's face) were creeping me out.

NFL preseason is here!

You can see the Ravens' stadium from the Baltimore Convention Center, but their first game is a night one so Otakon will be over several hours before then. I'm more disappointed about the Orioles being out of town this weekend. I've watched games from the Baltimore Hilton (attached to the convention center) during down periods at previous cons.

Based on tonight the opening ceremony of Tokyo 2020 should be pretty fun.
