Perfect! Maybe if you plan to use it as a weapon, yes.

'I don't even eat pop-tarts- I made it for my husband. It kinda flew out of the toaster and I instinctively grabbed it to keep it from hitting the floor. I have a 2nd degree burn on my hand- I had to get it drained and I have an antibiotic cream and I am on oral antibiotics and it hurts like a son of a bitch'- from a quick google search of 'burned by pop tart!'

Here you go, Norc. These look better than the ones you buy at the store.

Re: Gif thread [2]
I eat Pop-Tarts all the time, though I don't usually warm them up anymore because it takes too much time when I'm running out the door at 6:45 am (plus they taste fine cold, too). I say "fine" because, well, they're clearly not gourmet food, but one could do worse for a quick, easy breakfast that has at least a little bit of substance to it.
My mom used to buy the off-brand organic "Pop-Tarts" that cost more and had more earth tones on the packaging, but I've gravitated back to the regular brand ones. I like them better, and there are more in a box (four packages of two rather than three). The fruity-tooty organic ones are good too, though.

@bungo that brings back memories of the time my mom, brother, and I tried to make Pop-Tarts when I was maybe six or seven. They didn't turn out nearly as well as the ones in the video, though.
Re: Gif thread [2]
This thread has gone full pop-tart.

They look really easy to make.
I think if I were in rush in the morning I'd grab a granola bar.

Re: Gif thread [2]
A granola bar only has like 130 calories though, whereas a package of two Pop-Tarts has about 400. Even CLIF Bars and Power Bars are only about 200 per bar. Eating something relatively substantial in the morning is important to me for energy since I usually avoid caffeine, though.

Half a stick of butter is 400 calories too, and arguably better for you.

Sorry, Eldo, I didn't see this post and it's a few days old now.
But the serving size for a pop-tart is only one pastry. So it's about 200 calories then (and I feel like the difference between 130 or so calories and 200 calories would be negligible), but I'm not sure if you're eating two or not. I know if I ate two pop-tarts in the morning it would be like a brick sitting in my stomach.
If you have time in the morning I'd recommend a bowl of bran flakes or shredded wheat (without the frosting).

No problem about the response thing, I miss posts all the time. Since Pop-Tarts don't come individually wrapped, I usually eat two at a time.

I've never been a big cereal person, but I'd probably give it a try if not for the practicality thing. When I'm at home I eat bagels and/or eggs for breakfast more than anything else; the Pop-Tarts are mostly just a convenience when I'm running out the door and often have to finish eating in the car.

If you try it make sure to use a bowl.
