Re: Pettytyrant sightings
I'm not saying I know anything but if I did know anything I'd know Petty is up to something... possibly in cahoots with an incedibly handsome hobbit of mature years who I'm too dicreet to name... But a Scotshobbit comes and goes just a pleases... I just wish he'd spend less coming and going doing belly-whackers and drinking buckie when there's actual work to do...
{{Luckily, they are only small barrels by Scotshobbit standards, Dave... and so as long as there is not a commercial warehouse full of them, he may not toooo long.... }}}

Re: Pettytyrant sightings
Well you're all wrong. Petty has obviously been born again thanks to my persuasive and witty arguments and has joined a monastery where they take a vow of silence. I have proof, but am not competent enough to post a gif yet. (I would take a class on how to do it, but that would cut into precious proselytizing time.)

Re: Pettytyrant sightings
I think he's secretly auditioning for a role in the new series of Dr Who, some TV scout saw his comely legs at a Haggis throwing contest deep in the wilds of outer Scotshobbitland & thought..."Eye up !"

It was only a matter of time before he got lost in the Buckie cellars. I may need to hire a new keeper of Buckie as a result! He's a loose canon, drinking without any restraint! By the time he's done, there will be no Buckie left in existence. I only pray that Huan and Beren will find him before he gets so drunk that he doesn't fear them!

I really liked the refrain, but it's the last verse that brought it all home.

Re: Pettytyrant sightings
Moving in to one of those hobbit holes in new hobbiton? Rolling around in the perfect grass (or so he now says).
Between the EE marathon, cavorting with PJ and grass a-rolling no wonder we dont see much of him here!

Re: Pettytyrant sightings
So, where was he observed last?
Maybe we should have some kind of map where one could mark any reliable observations?

Re: Pettytyrant sightings
there was once a Scotshobbit called Petty
who had a kilt called Betty
It was crusty and stained
As his Buckie was drained
through the various holes
made by the teeth of voles
down holes
Petty lived down a hole
not a clean or bright one
hoots mon!
but a dirty smelly one
boots on!
the floor was muddy
the walls were cruddy
the bed was fuddy
and his kitchen bloody
disgusting
he rolled in the muck
love a duck
what the f***
with an Owl
