Apropos of nothing, but I saw this on 1R.N and thought it was pretty funny.
Looks absolutely nothing like Liv Tyler. Actually, kind of looks like a dude (or "Dude Looks Like a Lady"?).

So do you wear big granny pants for safety then?
Be careful... Petty has a fetish for those.

I saw (and loved) their Hobbit script when it was posted on Cracked.com. I'll have to give the LOTR ones a read sometime. Editing Room is consistently hilarious.
Re: Lord of the Rings Humour: Parodies, Satires and More [3]
Agreed, though I'd dock them a point for an unwarranted knock against Tolkien—something about "crushing damage"; Tolkien didn't write any nonsense about dwarves falling off mountains without suffering a scratch.

Meh, I don't feel the need to "dock points" for perceived slights against my favorite authors. It's a comedy site; most of what they say is not intended to be taken seriously.
Re: Lord of the Rings Humour: Parodies, Satires and More [3]
True, I don't want to take it too seriously, but I think all reviews should be fair.

Whatever it is, it should be fair

Demanding "fairness" from a comedy site that makes absolutely no claims to accuracy or objectivity is the definition of taking something too seriously.
Re: Lord of the Rings Humour: Parodies, Satires and More [3]
Yeah, probably

"From him they learnt many things it were not good for any but the great Valar to know, for being half-comprehended such deep hidden things slay happiness; and besides many of the sayings of Melko were cunning lies or were but partly true, and the Noldoli ceased to sing, and their viols fell silent upon the hill of Kôr, for their hearts grew somewhat older as their lore grew deeper and their desires more swollen, and the books of their wisdom were multiplied as the leaves of the forest."

At first I thought the crazy hair/beard guy was Petty, but then I noticed that the green-skinned guy is wearing a barrel. Now I'm just confused.

According to that website, it's "Bqggz the Orc"

I enjoyed the HISHE take on The Hobbit as well.

I'm glad Cinema Sins has been doing LOTR. Can't wait for their Return of the King video.
