How you figure? Though I don't know where they got 500 from either...must have been something Legolas mentioned as having 'been there'. I have to assume he wasn't in the Last Alliance or he would have said something, but that's not a bedrock proof.

I like that Figg- sort of 1920's style.

Probably cost them more to make that segment than to fly over the whole cast from New Zealand!

Loved Colbert's Smaug bit. He's been pulling out all the stops for his last few weeks of shows.
Re: Lord of the Rings Humour: Parodies, Satires and More [3]
Lots of little jabs at Tolkien fans who wanted the films more like the book. Bet that bit cost a ton of money. But I guess they need to do something to stir up hype. It was cool but I'm still not gonna see the film

Been watching BBC America all day on my DVR. I always loved the English sense of humor over what most Americans consider humor. One of my favorite films none of my musician friends got but I loved the humor in it. "Still Crazy" with Bill Nighy, Jimmy Nail, Timothy Spall, and Billy Connolly (you know that guy who was supposed to play Dain Ironfoot until he was made CGI) in it

Ayup Todd...
I've never seen that. That looks real old. Considering how young Bill Nighy looks. I think Spinal Tap is THE rock parody of all times and will never be beaten. I sorta like Python, as we englishmen are supposed to do, but I like their films better, rather than some of the poo that is their 'sketch' material. There's some real rubbish in there. I wish we'd have had more SNL stuff over here, as I'd have loved to have seen the likes of John Candy, Dan Ackroyd and your 'Usual subjects' do their thing before they got famous.

Well "Still Crazy" isn't a documentary, it's just a movie. the SNL skit was pretty good.
