A bit of a long day on sunday. Up early and a lot of things to do during the day, a couple of hours by car to get home, then straight to a concert as my brother needed someone to sell tickets at the door and home after midnight.

Well, it's been stunning here since last week so I shouldn't really be complaining anyway.

But I like the idea that you are getting snow at the same time.  

It's been 60+ degrees for the last couple days, but it fell into the 20s abruptly last night, but the forecast calls for weather in the 50s again tomorrow.  Thanks, Maryland.

Lemme put it this way: 60 degrees (and even 50) is very much springtime weather, whereas the 20s are below freezing.

When an American hears the degrees in Celsius


When everyone else hears the degrees in Fahrenheit

 

In Britain they seem to do both.

So they'll say, "Oh, it -5 C." or "It's 60 F."

Saying 23 F and 16 C just isn't as impressive.   

yeah.. it's like when they on the news says half a century (50 years) and "et kvart hundretusen" (a quarter of a hundred thousands (sounds a bit more correct in norwegian)) to make is sound a lot... the last one is 25 000. it's stupid.

haha, i just saw that, but like i don't think they naturally form such huge packs (mind these are wild reindeers, the only wild pack in norway )

saw plenty of reindeers this weekend. loners that is, one or two, but all in all we saw around ten on our way. and we did the sauna and since it had snowed (finally) we could run out and roll around in the snow a couple of times before going back in. it was wonderful. i'll see if i'll blog about it. ofcourse there will be no pictures of my naked ass making snow angels
