He's an Osloboy. Everything north of Sinsenkrysset is North Norway.

The light is different down in Oslo though, the summer nights are noticeably darker in Oslo than here.

(And those are not our NL pictures, we missed the whole thing. Sleeping, I guess.   )

Those pics are beautiful, Amarië. And yes, Blue, we do get the Northern lights every now and then in Trøndelag, but they're weak and lifeless compared to the real thing. There was one night either in late 2011 or early 2012 where the Northern lights were visible in Oslo. We missed it on account of cloudy weather (of course), but it was supposed to be quite extraordinary. I can imagine it doesn't happen very often, as people were very excited and also very disappointed when they saw nothing but clouds

Yeah, was a bit disapointing.    Though I didn't really seek it out either.

Though you do have a point, as I think Tromsø is more than three times as far away from here as Trondheim. From your perspecitve we all live in Southern Norway, I guess.   

And I do live north of Sinsenkrysset actually.
