Vegetables should be allowed to roam free in the wilds where they can experiment with growing into different suggestive shapes- they should not be farmed and then eaten alive in the prime of their lives

There has to be some border control concerning vegetables, Uncontrolled veg can lead to maverick behaviour rampaging across civilized England. Radical groups springing up willy nilly across fields & gardens, deep spine chilling howling in the night from the lesser spotted Raddish, the ambushing of door stop deliveries from malformed potatoes, & the heinous crime of washing line theft from over organic Runner Beans, not a world I want to live in, Uh-huh.

What I can't remember is a decent translation of stikkelsbærsaft.

Oh, that sounds great.
We have about one bush at our cabin, so get to make about one or two glasses of gooseberry jam a year. Which is to die for, but, yeah, there's not a lot of it. I don't think I've actually eaten gooseberries since I was a kid.
