I like the song too, actually.. not a really big fan of violet road, they're local, but yeah.. good live band and they are funny, so I don't mind. I like how the vid is filled with local "celebrities"

Is that blond chickadee who heads the ball over by the water coolers one of the local celebs? Rather fetching.

Looks like a town centre drunken scrap- lots of people falling over and then some sneaky wee bugger making a run for it with someones wallet.

With the skills needed for that pastime, they may as well be elephants.

Re: All things sporting
Both teams did very well, both proved they deserved to be there. I felt a bit bad for the Tromsø-guy who was retiring or something after this and didn't get to win.
(I feel we have a bit of girly approach to this. Yey, my team won! But the other guys were good too! Yeeeey! )

Re: All things sporting
Well my 49ers and Eldo's Ravens are again in each of their conferences respective championship game to decide who moves on to the NFL Super Bowl! Lets hope they can each win!

Re: All things sporting
This was an absolutely fantastic weekend of football; one of the best weekends I can remember in a long time. I was rooting for both the 49ers and the Ravens in the conference championships last year, and since both lost I'm glad to see them both back this year. I've still rooting for a HarBowl rematch. Plus I remembered that the 49ers are your team, Lorient.
Also, goddamn at Colin Kaepernick running for 181 yards and two touchdowns on top of a pretty impressive passing night! Where the hell did this guy come from?

Re: All things sporting
Thanks for keeping me in mind Eldo! I was thinking the same thing with the Ravens and you!
As much as i love Alex Smith, I couldn't believe how outstanding Kaep was, thanks in part to the atrocious Packers run defense. Honorable mention for personal performance of the week I'd have to give to Joe Flacco, I cheered more for his final TD pass than anything that happened during the Niners game, just because of how intense it was! That Broncos-Ravens game was extremely exciting!

Re: All things sporting
I had resigned myself to us getting crushed by Peyton Manning again, but as the game went on and the Ravens refused to give up I started to feel hope again, which made for a very tense ending. My dad actually gave up on the game after the Ravens failed to convert on 4th and 5 with two minutes left, but I stayed and was thrilled to see them pull out a last-second game-tying touchdown. I'm very happy for Ray Lewis especially that his career gets to last for at least another week.
The Falcons/Seachickens game also had a very exciting ending, though unfortunately I was in the car during that and could only follow it through updates on my phone.

Re: All things sporting
Yea, was in the same situation on the Atlanta game, pretty disappointed that the 'Hawks lost, but O'well.
I actually firmly believed that the Ravens would beat Denver, mostly because Peyton Manning is terrible in the playoffs, almost as if he is a completely different player. I also picked Houston to beat New England, so shows what I know.
