They are beautiful birds ! that blue plumage is gorgeous tho I dont really like hearing that squeal they make. They seem to be popular round here for some reason ? Quite a few houses in the countryside keep them.

you need a stately home to keep peacocks, that way the squawkes bounce off the servants and marble sculptures and deaden the noise. rather than it being up close and deafening. I find a bustle absorbs noise too. it beats egg boxes.

One of the neighbors tried keeping peacocks, but he let them roam and there was enough food in the wild that they saw no need to come home. So we had feral peacocks around in the forests and the hills for several years.
Their cries were uncanny. From a distance they sounded like the wails of a ghostly baby for it's lost mother, coming from every direction and no direction at once.....
Then one winter they fell silent. I presume either the eagles or the coyotes decided they wanted some peace and quite.

I think that is the way of it, yes.
I'm not sure what the fish-eye lens does to how terrible that edge looks like on camera, but I'm sure it's plenty terrifying in real-life as well.

Augmented reality is pretty cool- just need to find a way to make it work without glasses or a headset or looking at a big screen to see what is meant to be there.
