Although it does remind me of the times that I had to help care for runty goat kids that were so weak they couldn't survive on their own and whose mothers ignored them for some freakin' reason and who had to be brought inside to the warmth and cuddled in blankets and bottle-fed but for whom nothing eventually worked and who eventually died in my arms wimpering soft "maahs" as the life drained from their eyes...

Unless I made a mistake their physics is wrong on several counts.
first, the numbers they initially give means a coefficient of friction of about 0.4 (for tires it's closer to 1).
second, given their coefficient of friction, the change in stopping distance is more like 60 feet.
Third, Nazi-era time machines would have been designed by Werner Heisenberg (who was leading their nuclear bomb project), who had far too elegant taste to design his machines out of cardboard.

Dear old Christopher I felt a bit sad whilst watching this. He's great for his age & I really do hope he is with us to watch the last (thank gawd!) episode of the Hobbshite. He seems such a sweet old duffer, a nice man.
