Any video that's over an hour long is a bit scary to dig into. Not just something you do on a lark.Lancebloke wrote:Did anyone watch that video I posted?

Love the words RA, I was actually waiting to see if some singing beetle in a sombrero would suddenly pop up, playing a guitar, & sporting a mustache bigger than him !

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
What were they doing there exactly?
Fake edit: the explosion caught me by surprise since I had no idea what they were saying ... I assume if I understood Norwegian I'd have had some warning.

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
Is that from your parts, Amarïe?
I would be interested to hear what english accent that guys speech reminded people of.

That is the local power company clearing powerlines, so that is Amarie lingo.
I thought it would be more fun if I didn't translate the title.

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
Well, it's certainly a wild part of the country. I'm quite well acquainted with some people from Selje and Nordfjordeid. Though that might be north/south of where you are.
Here's a quick translation for anyone interested:
"Yes, we're going to try and get a pine down from the 20 kgw here. Just a minute and you'll hear a bang. Are we ready. Dag? Yes, let's try. BANG Yeah. That went well. We had three loads of explosives because the tree went so far over and had so many branches. But it was succesfull. I didn't really need to say that, did I. "
Or something like that.

I first saw Man at Arms a couple months ago when he made Sokka's space sword from Avatar: The Last Airbender. He's great. He's done Gimli's axe as well.

I can't really complain about Canada annexing Santa anymore since they're putting him to good use. :*)
Re: The YouTube thread [2]
