So my cat Fred learned how to use the doggie door when the dogs moved in with us a few years ago, and he's able to jump the fence despite being really fat. He gets into fights with the cat across the street on a semi-annual basis, and sometimes he comes out of it the worse for wear, so I had to take him to the vet this morning since he had an infected bite wound on his neck.

Fortunately he should be okay but I wish there was a way to keep him indoors (without making it so the dogs would shit in the house cause they're stupid and need to go to the backyard).

there are doggie doors who recognises microchips. i know someone has one to avoid the neighbour cat to get in the house. might work if you enable it for just the dog's chip  other than that.. housetrain your dogs and remove the doggie door..

Never heard of that. I'll have to check into the microchip thing.

Unfortunately these dogs are horribly trained (from well before I met them) so I doubt that housetraining them would work. The little one already pees in my room all the time.
