I went to bed after the 5th. I have seen plenty of teams collapse in football... but that was ridiculous.

Scolari, I think, has a lot to answer for. The changes he made at half time he should have made after the second goal when it was very obvious that the midfield was lost, the defence was in pieces and Hulk/Fred were the most useless players in the history of world cup football.

Good news is that I put Toni Kroos in to my dream team before the semi finals!

Well this World Cup has certainly thrown up a few surprise games- but that was something else altogether.

Football, more than just a game-

'Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has urged the country to bounce back after its catastrophic 7-1 World Cup defeat against Germany.
"Like all Brazilians, I am very, very sad after the defeat. But we will not let ourselves be broken," she tweeted.
Brazilian media reflected the mood of shock on Wednesday, describing the result as a "historic humiliation".
"I feel bad for all of us - for fans and for our players," Ms Rousseff said, urging Brazilians to "get up, shake off the dust and come out on top".
"Brazil's historic humiliation has set off a warning signal in Dilma Rousseff's government, which fears that the bad mood stemming from the defeat may affect expectations for the economy - already not very favourable - as well as the campaign trail," a column in the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper said.'- BBC

I've been really sick for the past few days, but I was sick of staring at my bedroom walls so I went down to the living room yesterday afternoon to watch the game in between coughing fits. Razz Even being in the state that I am, I could tell it was a historic moment and was glad that I got to witness it. But seriously, I feel for Brazil. That was excruciating. But those six minutes in the 20s were hilarious, especially with the increasingly disbelieving commentators. Laughing

Thanks Figgy. I love you I'm getting a little better each day. This bug has jumped around from family member to family member but I think it's peaked by now.

A game in bad need of a goal so far.

Well if the first half needed a goal- that half really needed a goal. Extra time it is.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Germany will win the Final.
