ok. i took a kinda break in the project (because otherwise they just end up looking like each other, but i have some done)

but i did something else in the meantime, i started on a nother kind a project (like the one when i did all those semi-realistic-portraits thing  ) and i was thinking trying them in the same style/shadowing and editing and so on. so the first i've done is Ringo, dunno why but i always start with him, and i did some different edits and yeah.. (they're all on my http://nimrail.deviantart.com/) i dunno how many i'll do, but i need to do the trio and Am and probably Figg too. so here's the first one. this is gonna be a slow prosess i think because i wanna spend as much time as possible on each (so nothing is rushed or anything). 


(i think this is the editing style i am going for)


so it's different from the last portrait project since it's a half-facing thing (not just the face) and i am doing a more challenging angle (gives it a bit more drama) and there is a more difficult and exiting (and dramatic) shadowing going on. (lit from somewhere behind/the side)

I do really like your drawings, Norc.  I have my mental images of everything but it's cool to actually be able to see the characters in front of me.  I also like seeing how you interpret them in similar or different ways.

gosh, thank you guys  i try to be diverse with my style, but also controlling it. Ringo is somehow the one of them that i draw fastest.. and it still looks like him. Eldo is harder to get "right", i sometimes just screw it all up

i did an Eldo too, but i am not sure if i am happy with it yet, even though i did the editing similar, the style of the drawing doesn't fit with Ringo.. hmm.. i think i have to sleep on it.

Excellent Norc- really liked it, especially the line work. Reminds me of the higher end of the comic book market in that regard.
Have you ever seen Brian Bollands work? He is famous for his line work.
