TVD is well awesome. (or should i say, wellz awesomio!)

I also watch (with Kafria) Deadliest Catch.

I am seriously addicted to TVD. Having read the books apart from the last one, (which has only just come out,) and one and a half of the 'Stefan's Diaries' books. I like how in the TV seiries that they keep some elements of the book there(Like Klaus etc.), but it is different so that you don't really know whats happening next.

As for watching TV online, I watch the lastest eps of TVD online as in America they release them on a Thursday, but here in sunny (not) Britain, we only get the eps on the following Tuesday.

Very Happy Glad to hear it- you should be content playing hobbit-man at your age.
However at my age almost everything is distracting or annoying (and usually both).

BTW, if I recall correctly there are/were a number of other fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender here. Has anyone else been following the news on the sequel series Legend of Korra? Very Happy It will hopefully be starting in November of this year, and is with Game of Thrones the only TV series I'm really looking forward to at the moment. It's probably not a coincidence that they're both fantasy, though Korra seems to be shaping up to be a lot more steampunk than the original Avatar, which was pretty much high fantasy. Smile

steampunk? Question

What's this when it's at home?

Oh and is Game of Thrones the one with Sean Bean in? Might be worth watching just to hear his voice, providing he is allowed to use his full yorkshire accent! (He is my idea of distracting boys!)

Sean Bean's a great actor: though I fear his death scene in GAT won't be as dignified as his deeply moving death scene in LOTR... Very Happy

Never seen Avatar:The Last Airbender or any of it's sequels- is it on American telly- never seen it here in the UK.

Game of Thrones looks great, though I doubt I'll get to see it in a while. Usually takes ages before the Norwegian television channels air the big shows Mad

Me too; it was the first real shock for me in the book. But it's not the honourable respectable death that Boromir had fighting Uruk-hai. But I'm sure it will be just as emotionally moving! Smile

Joffrey doesn't do much in the first two book (that's all I've read so far) but it's a credit to the author how much I hate I feel towards him!

My freeview box doesn't have the Discovery Channel, looks a good alternative to BBC 4 or Yesterday which I do get! I like programmes like Deadliest Catch though- anyone remember that Ice Truckers programme? Very Happy

Discovery is on the 09 king crab so far, next season, 10 opies, Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie dies... Sad Sad Sad
My fave boat would probably be the Northwestern, but it looks like the new season coming in April will have two new boats!

Sounds an exciting programme! I love those sciency or natury programmes. Brian Cox's Wonders of the Universe I especially love. Though being good-looking helps, it's actually very interesting!

I've seen a few episodes of Deadliest Catch but it didn't really get me hooked. Razz I do adore Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel, though. Cool
