Artisitc Merits

The little patches of mossy like vegetation on the foreground is a nice touch.

But something's not quite right with the solar algorithm. The 'God's Rays' should all be the same direction over the expanse of a scene. The sun's too far away to have the change in angle shown.

{{Thats probably a result of the 'camera'- the lens has been 'pulled' ie it has a very low focal length. It distorts the image, you can see it clearest on the pic a page back- its in the last post on the page thanks to Figg. That uses the same sort of effect.
If you notice the red planet, its shape is completely distorted by the 'lens'. }}}

What? Best one so far! Though I think the solar flare effect is a bit too bright.

{{ Yeah I fucked it up! And Ive just realised why! I dont think the issue is the solar flare itself as such, so much as that Tripod is just firing up its heat ray, which is hard to notice because of the brightness of the sun flares, and also makes an extra too bright area of light on that tripod's underside, creating two flares.
I should have made the other tripod the one powering up its Heat Ray
Even more crabbit inducing its a bit of a complex picture that one, and with quite a few light sources besides the sun plus a fog layer that, crucially and time eatingly, objects can cast shows onto- took about 10 hours to render it out. }}}

I love it also but, I see it differently I think the lights in the house should be dimmer ? Its not fucked up Petty !
