Artisitc Merits

That's either 3 hours of photoshop or perhaps a few minutes of a good film editing tool.

The latter, only was more like half an hour to forty minutes- but now Ive done it once I reckon I could easily half that amount of time.

This is what it looks like in the prog from the perspective camera, showing the layers and their spatial releationship to each other and the camera-

It's cool the way the layers are shown as actual layers. Unlike photoshop where you are never quite sure what you're working with.

And a laudable adventure it was, Mr McTyrant. But I can't quite recall that hillock... ... ... though it's slightly reminiscent of a certain hillock near a lake where the Year Twelve girls were bathing... Damn dirty dusty place the Outback...  Err.. I remember keeping an eye out for wolves...  the predatory dingo, I mean.

More experimenting, this is more or less an all cgi shot- only the backrop is an actual pic of somewhere real, and even its a cgi element in the shot- took an hour to render out-

Ok here goes- based off the above vid-



Added a TARDIS, obviously (I need a better model though) and weather effects: rain, mist. Changed the backdrop to something more stormy looking and added some lightening (which I need to learn how to use better) and then colour graded it, added some grain and stuff to bring it all together.
Still some odd annoying things happening that I need to find out how to sort, but not bad for a first full attempt at a scene in a new prog I think.

Unfortunately I just looked at the clock and realised its taken me all night to produce 20 seconds of footage and its now 5.30AM.
Bollocks!

edit add -Just noticed it looks very dark on youtube for some reason, much darker than when I just watch the raw file back, watching in fullscreen helps, but even then you might have to up your brightness a little.
